Puppies!

Our friend and neighbor, Annette Clark, breeds Boxers - dogs, not humans.  She had a new litter at her house and invited us to come see them.  The kids LOVED the puppies!  And it was so cute to see them all running and jumping and playing together.  A couple of times, Brooke was on the ground and the puppies were piled on top of her.  I understand the term, "dog pile."  It was so funny!  But I didn't take my regular camera, and my phone camera was uncooperative, so I didn't get a picture of the dog pile on Brooke.  She just giggled and smiled and loved it... until they started nipping at her hair and head.  Then it wasn't fun anymore.  But she got up and the dogs settled down and she was happy again.  I loved seeing the kids with these puppies.  I wish we could have puppies, but without the poop and hair and chewing on things and all the mess that comes with them.  I guess the best way to enjoy a puppy is when it belongs to someone else.  At least for now.  Don't worry, Mom, we won't bring any puppies home, no matter how cute they are!

Soren was looking into the sun.  That was actually a smile, but it didn't exactly turn out that way!
