Soren's Birthday Party

We haven't ever really had a friend birthday party for the kids, so we decided we'd do one this year for Soren.  He invited several kids from school, along with some cousins and neighbors.  Not everyone was able to make it, but we still had a pretty good crowd.  Sean found some fun games on Pinterest, and we had several things planned, but mostly, the kids just wanted to play in the backyard, so it was like a big play date.  But they all seemed to have fun, and I'm glad we did it. 

The party was Saturday, September 19th, the day after Soren's birthday.  We would have done it on his birthday, but there was a Fall Festival at school that night, and I was also on call for jury duty, and didn't want to take a chance of being stuck in court.  I ended up going in on Tuesday of that week for jury duty and I was not selected for the case, so that was good!  It was fun to have the kids and some of the parents stick around for the party.  We had a great time.  Happy birthday to our big seven year old!  We're proud of the big helper and great student he is!
