Backyard Snow Fun

A couple of days after Christmas, we packed up and went to Salt Lake.  Last year at Christmas there was no snow up there, which was ok because the boys were able to ride their new 4-wheelers, but this year we were so excited to have snow for sledding!  We used the new bucket seats/sleds that Rick and Edie and family gave the boys, which took a little getting used to, but eventually they got the hang of it!  My mom also had a plastic disc that we used, and she bought a little plastic snowboard that I tried to demonstrate with.  The first time I think I nearly broke my shoulder, but I wasn't giving up!  Finally I got the hang of it.  Sean has videos on his phone of that, but we'll have to try to include that later... maybe!  We had some snow pants that fit Gabe, so he was ok, but Soren had outgrown the other pair.  We put him in jeans and he had fun for a while, but eventually got too cold.  But this was a good re-introduction to the snow, and they loved having a snowball fight with Daddy!
