This morning Brooke and I were on our way home from dropping off the boys at school. Sometimes on our way back, we see Mormor and the Walkie Talkies (her group of friends who walk in City Creek Canyon each morning). But today, Mormor is in Mayfield staying with David and Karin's kids, so I was telling Brooke we wouldn't see Mormor walking today. Brooke started asking questions about Jack and Caitlin and Ryan and what they would be doing today. I told her Jack and Caitlin were at school, and Mormor would be spending the day with Ryan. Brooke asked if Jack and Caitlin rode the bus to school. I said they did and she said, "Just like Soren and Gabe." I thought that was funny since we had just dropped them off. I said, "They don't ride the bus, they ride the Mini Van!" She quickly responded, "This is not a Mini Van." I said, "It's not?" She said, "No, it doesn't have a bow!" I thought for a second and then realized she was thinking a "MINNIE" van, as in Minnie Mouse! That made me laugh, and I asked what we should call it, instead. She said, "A Mickey Van!" But then she thought about that and said, "But it would need ears. Apparently, we need to have someone decorate it for us!" ("Apparently" is her latest word). Then she said we should decorate it at Halloween. I guess she thinks cars want costumes for Halloween, too! This girl is so much fun! I just happen to have some photos of the kids with the Mini (not Minnie) Van, so we'll throw them in here. A funny thing that happened with this is that Gabe made bunny ears on Brooke and when we showed her the picture, Gabe said, "Brooke, you have bunny ears!" She looked at the picture and smiled and said, "I do? I DO!!!" and she kept feeling her head to see if she could feel the ears! I had to show her they were just Gabe's hands!

Since I'm writing about Brooke, I'll mention a few other fun things she's been doing. She's been singing a lot more, lately. Sometimes she'll just start singing the Chinese version of "I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints." Jeane Robinson has been teaching it to the Primary kids for the past few months and I didn't think Brooke was really paying attention, but obviously, she is! It's so cute to hear her singing in Chinese. She also likes to sing, "Popcorn Popping" and she has some of her own words thrown in there. She does pretty well until she gets to the part where the song says, "I can take an armful and make a treat" Brooke sings, "I can take a big hug and make a treat, A popcorn treat that would smell so sweet! It wasn't very so, but it seems to be, Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree!" She's got most of it down, but doesn't like it when I try to correct her, so we'll just leave it at that! She's a rather determined three (almost four) year old!

| That's an outfit she chose. It reminds me of the outfits I'd see in the Canary Islands! |
| She loves to help bring up the garbage cans! |
| Brooke sleeping in her "new" bed, which is actually her old bed turned upside down with a sheet hanging over the top of it. It's her Princess Bed now. She loves it, and now rarely tries to get in our bed in the middle of the night. Win! |
| She's phasing out of naps, but this was a day she just couldn't avoid it. Looks comfy, doesn't it? Haha! |
The last time I was working in my parents yard she told me all about her bed. Sh was pretty stoked.
