Also occurring in May was the wrapping up of T-Ball. I was worried after the first game that the boys were not going to enjoy it, but after two or three more games, they were starting to like it. And by the end of the season, they were sad it was over. When I wrote at the beginning of the season, I was frustrated because the team we played seemed like it had all the experienced players. But because it did, the rest of the teams were more evenly matched, so it was a lot more fun to play. No team had more than six or seven players, and we only had five, but those five boys had a good time, and they improved quite a bit. Soren and Gabe got a lot better at batting. Their fielding still needs work, and it was hard for me to watch them sometimes because they would sit in the grass and not pay attention to the game. The coach in me didn't like that. But they are still just my little boys, and I was proud of them for playing, and they surely did look cute out there!
