I know February is a short month and all, but wow! That went fast! On Monday, Maddie was a month old. I know she's growing, but she still seems so little to me. She's a great little napper during the day still, but not so great at night, unless she's being held. The past three nights I've been so tired and in need of sleep, that I decided to sleep on the couch and snuggle with her. The first night we got five hours of sleep, the second night we got four, and last night we were between six and seven! Much better than the one and two hour stretches she was doing before. I am a tired, old mama. But I guess since she's my last baby, I'll enjoy these snuggles as much as I can, even if they come at the cost of sleeping in my own comfy bed. We've never been big fans of putting the kids in bed with us, but sleeping on the couch is totally different. Ha! Not really, but sometimes Sean gets up at 4:30 to go to the gym, and sometimes it's 5:30, so I hate to wake him any more than necessary, which is why I've opted for the couch. It's not so bad.

| She kind of looks like a bobble head doll in this photo. Her head isn't really that big in real life... not yet, anyway. But she does have a long, skinny body! 2/25/14 |

The boys and Brooke still just love to hold and hug Maddie and be around her. I hope she's patient with them as she gets older. Gabe tries to hug Brooke sometimes and Brooke is NOT patient or happy about it. She usually hits or pushes him away and grunts or screams at him. She is a brute. But she has her sweet moments, as well!
Maddie has had some more visitors, but I haven't been as good to have my camera out all the time. The fourth child will not have nearly as documented a life as the earlier children, I'm afraid. Poor kid! But we appreciate those who come to see us anyway. My friend Karry Rathje was in town for meetings at the Capitol, so
she came to see us one morning after the boys had gone to school. This
time, the camera was near by. Karry is one of my Vegas Power Squad
friends, although she is now living in St. George. I miss that group of
girls!

JB and Mary Richards came down a few Sundays ago while they were up at John and Pauline's for dinner. They brought their baby, James, who was about 8 1/2 months old at the time. We should have had a photo with the two cute babies! James is probably twice Maddie's size. Mary held Maddie for a bit and I held James until he decided he wanted his mom back. I think both babies decided they needed meals from their mommas! It's nice to have some good weather again, because now we'll get to see all those cute Richards grandkids when they come for Sunday dinners. Soren and Gabe are always happy to see other kids around!

Our next door neighbors, Joyce and Elden Brown, came to visit a few weeks ago as well. Again, I didn't photo document it. They are such nice neighbors and have enjoyed watching our kids run around the yard. Soren and Gabe often wander over to the Browns house as well, and the Browns love to report back to us on all the funny things the boys say and do while they are over there.

| Happy girl in a cute dress. Looks like she's laughing her head off! She was in a good mood. 3-9-14 |
We are so lucky to have good friends and family near and far. Thanks to all for making us feel loved. It will be fun to look back when our kids are older and remind them of the good people who were here to welcome them into this world! And happy one month birthday, Maddie!

We made the blog! And she is adorable.
