| This is obviously not a "swisher" photo, but it's cute, and shows what else she likes to do. She climbs up on this tractor all by herself and just loves to pretend to drive it! |

The Swisher
Brooke is a swisher. And by that, I mean she likes to swish the water in the toilet. If she sees an open door to the bathroom, she will most likely head right for the toilet and get her hands in it and splash. She also likes to climb into the bath or shower. For a while she avoided the toilet and just went for the shower or tub, but the past few days, she's back to the toilet. In fact, yesterday after church we were sitting in the kitchen. All of a sudden I heard the swishing noise and said, "Oh no! The bathroom door must have been open!" I get to the bathroom door and there she was, happy as could be, IN the toilet! She had her hands holding her up on the seat with her feet and legs dangling and swishing around in the toilet bowl. I was torn between getting her out immediately and taking a picture. The removal from the toilet won, even though it would have been a great photo. I think I yelled out, "She's standing in the toilet" and Sean said my mom went running towards the bathroom faster than he'd ever seen her move! I lifted her out of the toilet with her shoes and tights and the bottom of her dress dripping onto the floor. I just laughed (and was grossed out a bit) as I toted her downstairs and stripped her down and put her in the tub so she could splash in some clean water. She loves to splash! Such a funny girl.
While I'm writing, I'll put in some more current news. Today we had an ultrasound to see Baby #4. Maybe for now I'll call him/her Quatro. Anyway, I want to wait until the birth to find out the gender. Sean would rather find out sooner rather than later. He says he doesn't like praying for "it" and wants to know whether to pray for "him" or "her." But he was a good sport and looked away from the screen when the ultrasound doc told us to close our eyes. She said she was able to get a good view and could tell the gender, but she didn't write it down anywhere, so no one reading our charts should blow the surprise for us. Sean and I both think it's a girl, and so does Gabe, but Soren is sure it's a boy. We'll find out in February! Here are my two favorite pictures from the ultrasound. Cute little feet, and a great profile. We love you already, Baby Quatro!

Darling baby feet. It's probably a girl. Everyone has girls but me. Whatever it is though, Quattro will be so cute! And big sis can teach all about swishing.
