I keep thinking Gabe should be potty trained by now. But he's not. And he has no desire to do so, either. He won't tell me when he needs to go to the bathroom. He's just content to use his diapers. Sometimes if he has to poop, I can tell by the look on his face and I'll get him to the toilet in time. But most of the time, he does a little poop in his diaper, I change it, and them have him finish on the toilet. Soren wasn't potty trained at this time last year, either, but I thought if Soren did it, Gabe would want to follow suit. I guess not. He wants to go to preschool, and I told him he can't go until he's done with diapers, but that doesn't seem to register. Sometimes he remembers he can have a treat if he poops on the toilet, so that motivates him a little, but not much. I am just trying to be patient, but I'm not very good at that. This summer he'll have to get it done, or he won't be going to preschool! One day he had a little poop in his diaper, so I was sure he had more to get out, so I had him sit on the toilet. Every time I went in to the bathroom, he was in a different position on the toilet, but still no poop. I didn't get a photo of all the poses, but you get the idea. The last one was on a different toilet because he decided the downstairs one was too cold and he needed to use our toilet upstairs. It didn't help. He still didn't poop. He'll get there, I know, but we're looking forward to seeing him in his cute little "unders" soon!
