Decorating the Tree

If the date on my phone picture is correct, we bought our Christmas tree on the 4th of December, but didn't get around to decorating it until the 18th!  The boys ran around the small Christmas tree lot like crazy animals.  We were hoping it would get us helped sooner, but that didn't work.  Seems like people who arrived after us were helped before us, but oh well, patience, right?  And the boys were having fun!

Sean is the keeper of the ornaments, so he headed up the decorating project.  The boys had fun helping for a while, but you can see they didn't quite catch on, as most of their ornaments were clumped onto one branch.  Brooke and I were just hanging out watching the excitement.  After a while, the boys got bored and started jumping off the speaker/subwoofer/jumping platform.  But it was nice to just be together, enjoying a Christmas movie and the joy of the season!

This photo makes me think of the movie, "The North Avenue Irregulars" when Claire gets into the car wreck and is mad about her hair and nails being messed up.  A Watkins Family favorite movie!
