Well Checks

10-12-12 Our three baldies!

On Monday, the 5th of November, we took all three kids to the doc for their well checks.  Soren at 4 years old, Gabe at 3, and Brooke at 4 months (and a half).  All three kids got shots.  Brooke had 3 and handled it better than the boys.  Gabe and Soren both got flu shots and cried like babies.  Soren especially.  He is sooooo dramatic!  Gabe actually recovered quickly, but just seemed mad.  Soren got his school shots as well.  The doctor said since he's over 4, he could get them and then he'll be ready for school next year.  After screaming about his 3 or 4 shots, he flopped onto the floor and pretended he couldn't walk.  Seriously, where does the drama come from?  Ok, maybe as a kid I was a little more dramatic, but I wasn't a wimp!  Sometimes these boys wrestle around and jump and play and I think they'll be hurt, but they just keep on going.  Then they get their shots and nearly jump out of their skin!  We'll have to work on controlling the emotions.  If only I had a video of that behavior, it would be so funny to watch when he's a big tough NFL lineman!  Ha ha.

So here are their stats.  We have big kids, there is no doubt.  Soren is 43.25 inches tall and weighs 42.6 pounds.  He's in the 95+ percentile for both height and weight.

Gabe is 38.5 inches tall, in the 50-75 percentile, and he weighs 34.1 pounds, which is the 75-90 percentile.

Gabe at 3 years

Brooke is 25 inches tall, in the 50-75 percentile, and she weighs in at 17.4 pounds with a head circumference of 17.5cm... weight and head size both 95+ percentile.  Don't worry, Brooke.  Your brothers are growing into their big heads and thinning out.  You will, too.  We love our healthy, chunky, super cute babies!
