We were able to watch General Conference and run some errands on Saturday. We enjoyed checking out the new City Creek Shopping Center in downtown Salt Lake. The boys loved the fish pond and streams running through the mall. Saturday evening, Sean attended the Priesthood session in the Conference Center. He said it was a really great meeting and even though he had to put on a tie, I think he was glad to go. Sunday was April Fool's Day and Soren and Gabe were excited to wake up to see snow falling. They put on their coats, hats, gloves and boots and went out to play.

We planned to return to Vegas on Monday, but Sean decided he'd like to do some Family History work at the Family History Center, so we decided to leave Tuesday. Sean didn't feel too productive at the Family History Center that morning, so we went back to the original plan to leave Monday. It wasn't until late afternoon that we got on the road, and we pulled into Vegas around midnight, but it was a safe drive and the boys went right to bed... thank goodness!
That first full week of April was Spring Break in the schools, but Sean didn't get the time off. The boys and I met up with our friends Deneen, Jackie, Gregory, Trevor, and Gabriella to attend the Curious George exhibit at the Lied Discovery Children's Museum on Wednesday. They had a great time doing many of the things that "Monkey George" does, such as playing in the play areas, blowing bubbles, working like a mechanic, and splashing and making dams in the water tables. Anything involving water really seems to catch their attention. Their shirts were pretty wet after that, but they didn't seem to mind.
Friday Sean and I got to attend the wedding of our good friend, Janel Wagner, as she was married to Shawn Rison in the Las Vegas Temple. It was a nice ceremony and great to be with friends. We enjoyed visiting with more friends at the reception that night.
Saturday, our friends Gabe and Laurie Gledhill had their pool opening party, so the boys enjoyed their first swim of the season, and we enjoyed good food and company. There were lots of kids in the pool, so Sean and I decided to just watch instead of fight for some space in the pool. We had a little scare when Gabe stepped off the shallow play area into the deeper water. I jumped onto the step and pulled him out. He wasn't in long, so he was just fine. Just a little scared. That happened to Soren last Fall and it has made us realize we'd better get these kids safe and comfortable in the water, so this week we will be starting swimming lessons at the rec center! We also bought a small pool for our backyard that the boys can stand up in, but it's still big enough for the adults to cool off in, so we will be able to endure the heat as it has come on quickly and we are already into the upper 90s. With nearly 11 weeks to go in this pregnancy, finding ways to keep cool is a must!

Sunday was Easter, and the Easter Bunny hid some eggs in the backyard, so the boys got to search for them in the morning before church. They had a fun time filling their baskets. This was our second Easter here in this home on Voyager St. Hard to believe we've been here a year already! I've been looking at pictures from the past year and the boys have grown so much. It doesn't seem like it each day, but when you look back on the year you can notice those changes!
So that's how we started off the month. It was busy and fun. The rest of the month has been going by quickly as well, but it hasn't been quite as packed as that first week. We are just trying to get back into potty training mode with Soren, as he seems to have taken a break from it for a while. He was doing well for about a month, but then decided diapers were more convenient for him, I guess. It would be so nice if he and Gabe could both be potty trained by the time this baby comes, but I'm not holding my breath!
